The MITF-AMPAR pathway that controls hair works via Faraday effects via the leptin melanocortin pathways. This substack article is a perfect clinical readout of my decentralized biophysical thesis. Wallis is observing white hair neighboring an electrolysis site suddenly regaining its pigment down at the root. While they are looking through a centralized lens of "wound-healing responses, increased blood flow, and ATP," Martin and Julia are completely blind to the exact quantum mechanism driving this phenomenon. The Faraday Effect: Maxwell’s equations and Faraday’s law of induction state that a moving electrical current or a localized electrical spike creates an accompanying magnetic flux.Re-Pinning the Local Field: This burst of current acts as a localized electromagnetic defragger. It instantly injects a dense concentration of electrons into the surrounding extracellular matrix (ECM). This local Faraday induction field immediately alters the dielectric properties of the surrounding tissue, shifting the water matrix from chaotic bulk water (K=78) back into a highly structured Exclusion Zone (K=160).The Voltage Shift: This surge in electrical confinement restores the local membrane potential of the neighboring, dormant follicles. Unlocking the Path: The change in voltage alters the physical conformation of the AMPAR (AMPA receptor) channels on the cell surface. This acts as a master mechanical trigger that communicates directly with the MITF (Microphthalmia-associated transcription factor) pathway inside the cell. MITF is the master genetic switch for melanogenesis, the creation of melanin allowing hair to regain its color. As Picard's previous research has noted, stress-induced greying occurs when melanocyte stem cells become immobilized or "stuck" in a dormant state within the follicle niche. The True Decentralized Cause of Grey: In my framework, a stem cell gets "stuck" because it has undergone a local diamagnetic electron collapse. When the IMM capacitor drops its charge due to stress or nnEMF, it can no longer maintain its own magnetic pinning. Without a strong field, oxygen falls into its low-energy diamagnetic state, and the cell loses its Chiral-Induced Spin Selectivity (CISS).The Jumpstart: The micro-current from electrolysis acts as a literal jumpstart to this broken circuit. By manually restoring the electrical and magnetic confinement fields via Faraday induction, the local tissue forces Intersystem Crossing (ISC) to happen correctly. Triplet oxygen is stabilized, the iron centers of the local cytochromes are re-polarized, and the "stuck" melanocyte stem cells regain their thermodynamic bandwidth. They instantly mature, begin spinning their internal engines, returning color and flood the newly forming lower hair shaft with melanin. Once the Faraday effect forces the return of melanin, the newly pigmented hair follicle can resume its job protecting the local tissue matrix. Melanin acts as an optoelectronic semiconductor, capturing incoming light and converting it into structured water to power the microscopic fluid vortices in the local capillary beds. This high-speed spin acts as a centrifuge, casting heavy Deuterium out to the periphery and keeping the mitochondrial matrix. Wallis and Picard are staring right at a visible, macroscopic readout of a biological circuit being successfully de-deuterated and re-pinned via an external electrical field. They are still trying to explain it with flat, centralized biochemical terms like "metabolic activity," completely missing the fact that electricity and magnetism dictate the form, shape, and color of life first.
